Cans are also printed using the physical property that ink and water repel each other. Through printing pressure, the image and text from the printing plate are transferred onto the cans via the rubber blanket. This process follows the principle of offset lithography. Due to the special physical and chemical properties of cans and the reprocessing capabilities of printed products, their printing process is quite different from that of ordinary lithography.

The printing machine selects the Japanese Fujifilm PRIMEX-P452 five-color traditional ink brush machine and the five-color UV metal plate printing machine. During plate making: Make the (blank area: hydrophilic)

(The text and graphics area: hydrophobic and oleophobic)

Before printing: First moisten the paper, the blank area absorbs water, while the text and graphics do not absorb water. Then apply ink, the blank area has water but does not absorb ink, while the text and graphics absorb ink.

During printing: The water-adsorbing roller and ink-adsorbing roller alternately apply water and ink to the printing plate. The ink passes from the plate through the rubber blanket to the substrate.
